40 greatest photos
Photographer: Joe O’Donnelln
I chose this photo because it shows John F Kennedy's son saluting his fathers coffin on his funeral. What caught my eye was when his son was with the saluting guard when they were all saluting the presidents coffin after he was assassinated. I think this photo is on the 40 greatest because it shows how strong JFK Jr is saluting his dad.
Photographer: A US Soldier/ Photographer
I chose this photo because it shows US Troops being deployed on Omaha Beach during the invasion of Germany(D DAY). The Photo was very interesting because it shows the invasion of Omaha Beach a important day in our history. I think this photo is on the 40 greatest because it shows a war that was the biggest world war that had a LOT of casualties and a day that is important in our history.
Photographer: Justin Lane-Pool
I chose this photo because its sad and interesting. This guy lost his son in 9/11 and he found his sons name and started to cry on the 10th year anniversary of 9/11. I think this photo was in the 40 greatest because its a touching photo and it happened 10 years after a day that will never be forgot.
